Staff

A key philosophy of the school, since its establishment, has been that tutors should not only be tertiary qualified, but also actively working in the industry. This allows the student to gain the benefits of the tutors "professional" experiences and up-to-date knowledge of their industry.

All tutors:

  1. Hold a tertiary qualification (3 year full time diploma or degree -equal to over 2,000 class contact hours);
  2. Have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience;
  3. Are still working in industry (at least part time).

NB: Some modern diplomas and degrees are shorter than 2,000 hrs. Diplomas can even be well below 1,000 hrs. While graduates from shorter qualifications may appear to be well qualified, it is obviously difficult for anyone to reach the same level of "learning" in a much shorter course. When you study here, you can be confident that your tutors have undertaken and passed courses at a high standard.

We endeavour to employ tutors who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their respective fields. Current tutorial staff include former presidents and secretaries from professional associations, managers and department heads from a variety of organisations & successful owner operators of a wide variety of businesses.
